How the calculation works
1 inch = 2.54 cm and 1 foot = 12 inches. From cm to feet: divide by 2.54 for total inches; feet are the whole part of dividing by 12 and the remainder is inches. E.g., 175 cm = 68.9 in = 5 ft 8.9 in.
Examples
- 180 cm = 5 ft 10.9 in (5'11").
- 6 ft = 182.9 cm.
